To troubleshoot your Windows problems, Windows 11 provides a wealth of features and Advanced Options Menu. To troubleshoot problems, you can reset your PC, restore it to a previous state using a System restore point, and boot into safe mode.
What is the Advanced Options Menu
You can use the Advanced Options menu to troubleshoot or repair your computer in a variety of ways:
Startup Repair: When you choose this option, Windows launches the startup repair tool and attempts to automatically fix startup issues.
Uninstall Updates: If recent Windows updates have rendered your system inoperable, Windows allows you to uninstall the problematic updates.
Startup Settings: You can use this option to access different startup modes and tools, such as Debugging Mode, Low-Resolution Video Mode, boot logging, Safe Mode, and so on.
System Restore: By restoring Windows to a previously created system restore point, you can fix certain crashes and errors. Settings, drivers, and apps are all reset to their previous state.
Command Prompt: For troubleshooting, your PC will start with a simple Command Prompt.
System Image Recovery: This enables you to restore a PC backup image.
Go back to the previous version: Have you recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on your computer? This option allows you to revert your computer to the previous version. If you’ve upgraded your computer in the last 10 days, this option will be available.
