Change Your Account Password on the Amazon Website
To change your account password on a Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook computer, go to the Amazon website.
To get started, open your computer’s web browser and go to the Amazon website. If you haven’t already, sign in to your account.
Click the “Account & Lists” option in the top-right corner of the Amazon site.
On the “Your Account” page that opens, select “Login & Security.”
You may be asked to enter your current account password by Amazon. Click the “Password” field in this case, type your password, and then click “Sign-In.”
You’re now on the “Login & Security” page. Here, next to “Password,” click “Edit.”
A “Change Password” page will appear. Here, type your current Amazon account password in the “Current Password” field. Then, in the “New Password” field, type the new account password you want to use. Re-enter your new password in the “Reenter New Password” field.
Finally, click the “Save Changes” button beneath the “Reenter New Password” field.
And your Amazon account now uses the password you just created! When it comes to account security, don’t forget that changing your Gmail password is simple.
