Most Windows users nowadays prefer to use Bluetooth devices such as speakers, mice, and keyboards. If you’re concerned about how much battery life is left, Windows 11‘s Settings app allows you to quickly check the Bluetooth Device Battery Life. When proper drivers are not installed, it may not show the Bluetooth Device Battery Life. But when it works, it’s very useful.
Check Bluetooth Device Battery Life in Windows 11
- If your Bluetooth device isn’t already connected to your PC, do so now. Make sure it’s turned on as well.
- When you’re finished, press the Windows + I keys on your keyboard to launch the Settings app.
- From the left side pane of Windows Settings, select Bluetooth & devices.
- The Bluetooth devices that are paired to your computer are displayed on the right.
If your device supports showing battery life in settings, you’ll see the remaining battery just below the device’s name. For example, you may notice a percentage of remaining battery life (such as 100 percent) and a full battery gauge icon in the image above.
If you don’t see a battery gauge in the Bluetooth device tile, it’s possible that you’re using an older device that doesn’t support this feature or that the drivers aren’t properly installed. Please check the documentation for your Bluetooth device to see if it supports showing the Bluetooth Device Battery Life.
