The UI has been changed in the redesigned Windows 11 Microsoft Store app, and a slew of new features have been added. However, there is still an annoying Videos AutoPay feature. That means that if a video is available on the listing page for games or apps, it will begin playing automatically. You can pause them if necessary, but it’s an obnoxious feature that a few Windows 11 users wish to disable.
How to Disable Videos AutoPay in Microsoft Store on Windows 11?
If you want to turn off Videos AutoPay in Microsoft Store, follow these steps:-
- Click the Microsoft Store icon on the taskbar to launch the app.
- Alternatively, use the Windows / Search icon on the taskbar to search the Microsoft Store. To open it, click on its entry.
- Now, in the top-right corner of the store page, click on the profile picture. Then, from the drop-down menu, select App settings.
- To disable Videos AutoPay in the Microsoft Store on your Windows 11 computer, turn off the toggle switch next to the “Videos AutoPay” option.
That’s it. When you open Microsoft Store on Windows 11, the video will not play automatically. If you want, you can play them manually.
If you change your mind and want to play video automatically on Windows 11 Microsoft Store in the future, repeat the steps above and, in step 3, turn the toggle switch next to the “Video autoplay” option to On.
