The Windows 11 ISO file is now officially available from Microsoft.
Windows 11 has been available for selection to Windows Insider users for a period of time. Fortunately, Microsoft has enabled a method that allows almost everyone to experience the feel of their latest operating system.
However, you still need to sign up for the Windows Insider program to get the Windows 11 ISO file. Also, you don’t need to worry about the Insider ‘Channels’ available for you to use, because once signed up for the Windows Insider Program, Microsoft will even allow you to download the ISO version of the Dev Channel, which you can then use for in-place updates or clean installs on your machine.
So needless to say, let’s get started.
First, Enroll into Windows Insider Program to be able to Download Windows 11 ISO File
You can register for the Windows Insider program through the Microsoft website or your Windows computer. We recommend doing this on your computer, because Microsoft’s website also redirects you to complete the registration on your computer in just a few steps.
Note: If you have already registered for the Windows Insider program, you can skip this section and continue to the next section to download the Windows 11 ISO file.
To do this, first go to the “Settings” application and start your Windows computer from the menu.
Then, click on the ‘Update & Security’ tab from the left sidebar present on the ‘Settings’ window.
Next, click on the ‘Windows Insider Program’ tile present on the left sidebar of the ‘Settings’ window.
After that, click on the ‘Get Started’ button to start the procedure for enrolling.
Next, click on the ‘Register’ button present on the overlay ribbon on your screen.
Then, read the information on how to join the Windows Insider Program and click the “register” button in the overlay window.
After that, click on the checkbox preceding the ‘I’ve read and accept the terms of this agreement’ option and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Once you are registered, you will receive a message stating so. Click on the ‘Close’ button from the overlay window to proceed further.
Next, click on the ‘Link an account’ option present on the blue ribbon to get started.
Now, select your Microsoft account and then click on the ‘Continue’ button from the overlay window present on your screen.
You will then be able to see all the available “channels”, depending on your system. Now, click on any available “channel” to continue, because Microsoft even allows “release preview channel” insiders to download the “development” or “beta” ISO version from the website. Then click the “Confirm” button to continue.
After that, click on the ‘Confirm’ button present on the ribbon.
The next step is to restart your system and associate your email address and system with the Windows Insider program. To do this, click the “Restart now” button on the ribbon.
After restarting, you will join the Windows Insider program. Now let us learn how to officially download the Windows 11 ISO.
Download Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft Website
Once you’ve signed up for the Windows Insider program, downloading the ISO is easy. So let’s get straight to that.

After logging in, scroll down to find the “Select Edition” section on the “Windows Insider Preview Downloads” webpage. Then, click the drop-down menu below the section, and then click to select your favorite version of Windows Insider Preview.
Once selected, click on the ‘Confirm’ button situated right under the drop-down menu. This will reveal the ‘Select the product language’ section.
Then, select your preferred language using the drop-down menu available and click on the ‘Confirm’ button present under the section.
After pressing the “Confirm” button, Microsoft will process your request and update the web page. You can now see the download link for the selected version of Windows 11 Insider Preview, which is valid for 24 hours from the date of creation.
Now, click the “Download” button to download Windows 11 Insider Preview, and the download should start immediately.
