Did you lose your iPhone? There are several ways to help find it.
When you finally lose your iPhone, it’s bad. Maybe he forgot it in the cafe or it was stolen from the train station. Fortunately, tracking your iPhone is easy (as long as it works well and is active). If you have enabled a passcode, the “Find my iPhone” feature will be enabled automatically. Here’s how to find a lost or stolen iPhone.
Find your lost iPhone using Find My
Once you realize that you have lost your iPhone, the first thing to do is to use the “Find My” service (previously known as “Find My iPhone”).
Go to any computer and open icloud.com/find.Here, log in with the same iCloud account that you used on the iPhone. If you use the family sharing feature with your family, you can also use the family member’s iPhone to track their device. Just open the “Find My” app and search for your device.
After logging into the iCloud website in your browser, select the “All Devices” option at the top and then select your iPhone. The map will show the current location of your iPhone. If your iPhone is turned off, you will see the last known location of the device.

Now that you know the location of the iPhone, you can navigate to it. After closing, you can use the “Play Sound” option to play a sound on iPhone and find it.
Recover your iPhone using Lost mode
If your iPhone is turned off (or stolen), enabling Lost Mode is your last option. Lost mode locks your iPhone and prevents notifications and messages from passing through. It also disables the cards and IDs stored in the e-wallet application. Lost Mode still allows incoming calls (including FaceTime calls) and will continue to track the location of the iPhone.
Click the “Lost Mode” button to start using (this only applies to the case of using a passcode on the iPhone). Here, enter the phone number and message you want to display on your iPhone so that if someone sees your iPhone, they can contact you and possibly return your iPhone.
If your iPhone is stolen, you have no choice but to file a complaint with your local government. We also recommend that you use the “Erase iPhone” function to completely erase the iPhone storage (this will happen when the iPhone is back online). In this way, at least your personal information will be protected.
How to make sure you can find your lost iPhone
The “Find My” feature should be enabled by default, but it’s still worth checking to make sure it’s working properly. Rather than being surprised when you finally lose your phone, it’s better to know now.
Set a passcode
If you don’t have a passcode, the whole “Find My” feature will fail. So first, go to “Settings”> “Face ID and passcode” to set a password, and then enable Face ID or Touch ID. Even if someone ends up using your iPhone, they won’t be able to easily access your personal information.
Enable Find My feature
Next, make sure that the “Find My” feature is enabled. Go to “Settings” and click on your profile at the top of the page. Here, go to “Find My”> “Find My iPhone” and make sure the “Find My iPhone” feature is enabled.
Enable Family Sharing
If you already have family members who use iPhone, it’s best to start using the family sharing feature. Not only does it allow you to share app purchases and Apple services, but you can also use the Find Me app to track all devices connected to your family sharing account.
