The Microsoft Store in Windows 10 will notify you when the automatic update is applied to an app or service. Although these notifications are usually annoying, they have an important purpose. Thanks to them, you know that the automatic update is going well. But what if you no longer receive these notifications?
There are many reasons why the Microsoft Store does not push update notifications. You may have blocked the Microsoft Store notifications unknowingly, which is easy to fix. Or it may indicate a general problem with the automatic update feature of the Microsoft Store; something can be patched.
Let’s take a look at a fix that can help you resolve Microsoft Store update notifications not showing up on Windows 10 computers.
Note: Since you will only receive update notifications after the Microsoft Store completes the installation of automatic updates, we recommend that you bookmark this post and try to fix it for a few days.
ENABLE MICROSOFT STORE NOTIFICATIONS
First, make sure that the Microsoft Store is configured to send update notifications on your Windows 10 PC. Go to “Start” menu> “Settings”> “System”> “Notifications and Actions”. Then scroll down to the “Receive notifications from these senders” section and toggle the switch next to Microsoft Store (if it’s disabled).

This should request that Microsoft Store to send notifications each time you start by performing an automatic update on the background from now on.

ENABLE AUTOMATIC APP UPDATES
Next, Check if Microsoft Store is configured to automatically update applications. For obvious reasons, you will not see any update notification otherwise.
Head at the Microsoft Store, and then click the more icon (three points) in the upper corner of the window. Store by clicking Settings.
Under the application section updates, activate the following switch to automatically update applications, if disabled.

The Microsoft store should send you notifications each time an application or service is updated.
RUN MICROSOFT STORE TROUBLESHOOTER
Has not found problems with the notification of Microsoft Store or Settings Automatic updates? In this case, consider running the integrated Windows 10 problems solver for Microsoft Store.
Open the Start menu, and then go to Settings> Update and Security> Troubleshooting. Then click on additional problems solutions at the bottom of the screen.

On the screen that follows, click Windows Store Apps, and then click Run the Troubleshooter.

Follow any on-screen instructions to troubleshoot Microsoft Store issues.

ENABLE BACKGROUND PERMISSIONS
The Microsoft Store should have the necessary permissions to run in the background of the PC. This is usually not a problem as these permissions are provided by default. But it’s always worth checking carefully.

Open the Start menu. Then select Settings> Privacy> Background Applications. Under the `Choose which applications can be performed in the Background section, activate the switch next to Microsoft Store, if it is disabled.
RESET MICROSOFT STORE
Try restoring Microsoft Store. Right The Start menu, select Applications and Features and select Microsoft Store in the list below applications and functions. Then click Advanced Options.

Scroll down and click Reset underneath the Reset section. Click Reset again to confirm.

Start Microsoft Store later, then log in if requested. Continue to review your notification and automatic configuration to make sure everything is good.
CLEAR MICROSOFT STORE CACHE
If Microsoft Store is restored, it has not solved the problem, try deleting the cache. This should eliminate redundant data that prevent Microsoft Store to automatically request updates. To do this, type wsreset in the Start menu, and then click Open.

You will see an empty command request. It appears on the screen, wait until the ends of erasing the Microsoft store cache.

Then, you need to automatically view the Microsoft Store launch. If requested, access the application. This should solve any problems with notifications or automatic data forever.
RE-REGISTER MICROSOFT STORE
You can also try recording Microsoft Store. Draw the Start button and select Windows PowerShell.
Continue to insert the command as follows:
Get-AppXPackage *Microsoft.WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
Press Enter to run the command. That should re-register the Microsoft Store.

If you want to re-register the Microsoft Store for multiple users, use the following command instead:
Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
When you’re done, restart your computer, launch the Microsoft Store, and sign in when prompted.
UPDATE WINDOWS 10
Have you updated your computer for a long time? If you haven’t already, do so now. The latest update usually fixes various issues, so updating to the latest version of Windows 10 can be of great help in resolving issues related to the Microsoft Store.

To do this, go to “Settings”> “Update & Security”> “Windows Update”. Then click the button labeled “Get Update”. If any updates are listed, click Update.
GET NOTIFIED
So did the above fix help you solve the problem that the Microsoft Store notification did not appear? Hope they do. Some of the tips at the top should work for most people, but if not, one of the other fixes should get the Microsoft Store back on track, especially if the automatic update issue causes the problem.
