How to show the Pen menu icon on the taskbar in Windows 11
As previously stated, the Pen menu on the taskbar in Windows 11 allows you to quickly access pen-optimized apps. It gives you shortcuts to important apps without having to go to the Start menu. The steps to enable it in Windows 11 are listed below.
The majority of Windows 11’s settings can be found in one place. Everything can be done from the System Settings pane, including system configurations, new user creation, and Windows updates.
Use the Windows key + I shortcut to get to System Settings, or click Start > Settings as shown in the image below:
Alternatively, you can use the taskbar’s search box to look for Settings. After that, choose to open it.
The image below shows how the Windows Settings pane should look. Click Personalization in Windows Settings, then Taskbar in the right pane of your screen, as shown in the image below.
Expand the Taskbar corner icons tile in the Taskbar settings pane, then toggle the Pen Menu switch to the On position.
The Pen menu icon will appear on the Taskbar after you’ve done that. You can get to it quickly by clicking on it.
How to hide the Pen menu on taskbar in Windows 11
If you enable the Pen menu on the taskbar and later decide you don’t want it, simply reverse the steps above and go to the Start menu > Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar corner icons and toggle the button for Pen menu to the Off position.
