Dark Mode is one of the most widely used modes/themes on Windows 11/10 PCs. It’s the ideal solution for those who don’t like being surrounded by white screens, especially if they work in the dark. All supported applications take on a dark theme once dark mode is enabled. The most significant disadvantage, however, is that Windows 11 and Windows 10 do not switch between light and Dark Mode automatically.
On Windows 11/10, this article will show you how to switch between dark and light mode. We’ll use a third-party tool to switch between dark and light themes automatically because there isn’t a built-in way to do so.
Why should we switch between Dark and Light Mode?
For PC users, the dark mode is a godsend. People would prefer to switch modes according to sunset and sunrise because not everyone wants to work in the dark mode all of the time. People prefer to use the light mode if they are working during the day and have adequate lighting. After sunset, however, our preference shifts, and we prefer to use dark mode to keep our eyes comfortable.

Many options for customizing Windows 11/10 are available under the “Settings” section. For example, a 12-hour clock, the ability to hide the system tray icon, color filters, language selection, and the ability to start the Auto Dark Mode app automatically when Windows starts.
