What Is EA Play?
Was formerly known as EA Access on Xbox, and EA Play is a subscription provided by EA that allows you to play all major EA games and experience EA games first. With EA Access, you can also enjoy limited-time trial discounts on EA purchases and newly released games.
EA Access also offers Protier subscription, you can play immediately after EA game is released. If you don’t have a Pro subscription, you will have to wait or purchase the game to play at launch.
What Is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate?
Is very similar to EA Play, Xbox Game Pass is a subscription provided by Xbox. For a monthly fee, you can access a large catalog of games. How to Use EA Play With Game Pass Ultimate
To use EA Play with Game Pass on your PC, you need three things: Xbox app, EA desktop app, and of course, Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
It is possible that you have already installed the Xbox application on your computer. Otherwise, you can easily install it from the Microsoft Store.
- Open Microsoft Store.
- In the search bar on top-right, type in Xbox.
- Select Xbox (not Xbox Game Pass or other apps).
- Click Install. Wait for the app to install.
- Click Launch.
- Login to the Xbox app with your Microsoft account.
Now you are ready to support Microsoft. Remember, you must log in to the Xbox app with an account with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

Now you need to resolve the end of the EA for this thread. You can download the EA desktop application from the official website EA Desktop web page. Once you’ve installed EA Desktop, it’s time to link your Xbox and EA accounts.
- Open EA Desktop and sign in with your EA account.
- Go back to the Xbox app.

- Scroll down to the EA Play games.
- Select the game you want to download and then click Install. This will take you to the EA Desktop app where a dialog will appear asking if you want to link your EA account to your Microsoft one.
