Microsoft launches new Media Player application for Windows 11
The new Media Player includes a fully functional music folder that allows you to quickly locate and play your favorite songs. You can, of course, make and manage your own playlists. The Groove Music app’s collections will also be automatically migrated to the New Media Player Application.
With impressive album covers and artist images, the music playback screen is also very unique. You can choose to play full screen or mini player with Media Player, depending on your preferences.
Aside from music, the new Media Player also allows you to browse, manage, and watch video collections stored on your device. Microsoft has improved the application’s accessibility, added keyboard shortcuts, and provided a variety of other assistive technologies.
Microsoft may provide users with new ways to browse their music and video collections in the future. Stream management tools will also be available.
Users who join the Windows 11 Insider Dev channel will have access to the New Media Player Application. Microsoft hasn’t said when the app will be available to other Insider channels, and when it will be available to all users is also unknown.
